After Ross and Rachel find they are married

After Ross and Rachel find they are married, both of them are decided to go to court to cancel it. But Ross worry about divorce for three times, so pretend they are canceled the engagement. However, Rachel forces Ross to cancel that when she find Ross tell the lie. But Rachel filled out the abolition of the humiliating statement on Ross in applications and finally led the problem can only be resolved through a divorce.

Then Ross has found a job to teaching paleontology in New York University. Chandler and Monica decided not to marry but live together first. Chandler moved to the residence of Monica, Rachel lived together with Phoebe. Later, a fire incident makes Rachel move to the residence of Monica, Phoebe think maybe she caused the fire, so she move to Joey home. Later found the fire turned out to be caused by Rachel's hair straightened, so they swapped the residence. Rachel find it's more interesting to live with Joey, but at the same time Phoebe must bear Monica's squeamish.

In the end of this season, Chandler decided to marry Monica.
