The need for conversion from AVI to DVD arises when you wish to transfer files from a digital video cam onto your computer.     * You should download and install the freeware AVI2DVD.
    * You can follow the tabs in the software that are labeled as step number. It will be very easy to follow these guide lines. Step 1: select the AVI file that you want to convert by browsing through the files in your computer.
    * Once you have chosen the file to convert choose step 2: Now you can select the output format by choosing the radio button that is next to the format you wish to choose here in this case you can click on the radio button next to DVD.
    * Now press the tab step 3: Now you can choose the encoder you want through which you will be doing the processing of the file. You can choose the encoder if you are an advanced user otherwise just choose the default selection.
    * Now press the tab step 4. Now you can give your desired subtitles for the DVD menu.
    * Now press tab step 5: Now you can start creating your DVD menu. The first button here on this page will help you to select the DVD images for the thumbnails. The second button “,mp3->mp2” is mainly for audio on your DVD menu. You have the facility to select any MP3 for this. The last button “dvd menu” will help you to create the menu. This is nothing but a wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) interface.
    * Once you have completed everything you can press the “Go” button and it would start processing to create your DVD. Once the DVD fie is created you can then use the DVD burning software in order to burn your the DVD files on to your DVD Disc.
